MOCK: Poster WIP shots

The first thing I did with the first three posters was the application of backgrounds, and the adding of text in the 'Matoran' font, which represents Glyphs in the BIONICLE films. The three posters each have a word in Matoran at their base - Unity, Duty and Destiny. These three words are the 'three virtues' expressed through the films.
To create the mask, I simply gathered a PNG of the mask from the BIONICLE toy, and used a colour overlay to render it as a vector. I then used the Polygonal Lasso tool to trace the blade of the toy, and filled this in white. Both shapes were arranged onto the posters, and given a Gradient overlay.
This text has had a Gradient Overlay and a transparency added to it so that it matches the aesthetic of the mask and the blade. I then created the vignette (right window) and applied this to the poster. The eyes are simple white shapes with a glow effect.
For the second poster, I created a Vector of the Colosium by tracing an image from a BIONICLE video game, and then used another Gradient Overlay on it to add form.
The same effects for the text as used in the first poster were used here. The technique of the eyes from that poster were also borrowed for the beam eminating from the building.
I altered the tone and texture of the third image so that there is a progression of brightness through each poster.
Here I created the vector of only Keetongu's yellow armour sections for the third poster.
I used the same technique as on the beam to give Keetongu his eye.
 A comparison.
The text has the same effect as the previous posters.
Here I created a vector of another character, Norik.
I also gave him a glowing eye.
After some reconsideration, I then centered the quotes on the third and second posters and removed the vector of Norik.
For my fourth poster I vectored the Kanohi Ignika in colours, with the help of a Colour Overlay
I then applied a vignette to the image, and removed some opacity on the Colour Overlay on the mask to give it more detail. The text has a simple Gradient Overlay applied to it. This Matoran text reads 'Mata Nui', who is the name of the character who wears the Kanohi Ignika.
